Hi. I need to change my number to a Manitoba number for my work. I will be working in Manitoba but sometimes I will be working in Ontario. Am I aloud to do this? Having a Manitoba while being in Ontario?

Well the fine print says you nee to be be resident of Manitoba so say that you qualify, you can of course use your phone in another province without any restrictions on plans based on where you go.

If your permanent residence is in Ontario, changing to a Manitoba number is not possible. Koodo is well aware of the plans offered by a certain re-seller, (if that's the route you plan on taking). If they find out you're using a Manitoba plan in Ontario, you'll be switched back to an in-market plan in this province, plus you'll lose any start-up fees invested. If you need a plan where long distance won't be an issue, consider opting for a Canada-wide plan.

Buy a Manitoba number from a VoIP supplier, and forward it to your current number. Costs a few dollars per month.
