Changed to seasonal hold, but bill is still charging me for the full month?

I was under the impression that putting my account on seasonal hold would prorate the charges from my original plan based on the number of days I had it active, but my bill states that for the month of May I still have to pay the full amount. If I had known this, I would have opted to put the hold on at the end of the month so that I could at least let my family use the data or something. Would it be possible to put me back on the plan and schedule the seasonal hold to the end of the month?

Could you post a screenshot where you see these charges? Just leave out any personal info. It will help us understand what is going on.

Hmm...it should pro - rate as far as I know. Is this a current ebill you are looking at? You can send a private message to Koodo via Facebook Messenger or DM via Twitter to get it adjusted.

If you look in self serve, is your plan actually on Seasonal Hold?

Seasonal hold was requested yesterday Andrei. Your invoice was produced a few days prior to that. You can go online and switch back to the plan of your choice. We can also help you change the plan for you, however there is a $10 service if our reps do it vs. free online.

Ok, I will go change the plan online. To clarify, given that the invoice was produced at the beginning of the month, it seems that seasonal hold does not prorate your current invoice, even if you are only a few days into the month. Is that correct?

It can’t pro-rate an invoice which has already been generated (printed). The adjustments would appear on your next invoice.

But would you still pay for the full month or the bill will be prorated?
