Changed plan yesterday in middle of month period; had to pay tab at same time. Today, tab is at 0 but plan is still showing as old one with usage charges from today also billed; why?

Are you sure you completed the process to change plans? Go back into self serve and attempt the plan change again, the system will know if you changed within the current billing cycle and will stop you if you have.
