Change Plan in the middle of a billing cycle

Hi Koodo,

I am wondering if I change my plan in the middle of a cycle how will I be charged. For example, my plan was $56/mo and my bill date is the 1st of each month. If I change the plan to $45/mo on 15th of the month, how much will they charge in my next bill (to make it simple, just let's say I do not have any extra fee in both plans)? The confusing part to me is that the bill I pay for this month includes a whole charge of $56 for current month. Since I change from $56 to $45 in the middle, will they refund the half of $56 which I did not use and charge a prorated half of the $45 in the next bill cycle?

Thanks for the clarification,

Frank

Hi there... Since you are going from a 56$ plan to a 45$ plan, the system automatically will refund you those days that you did not use the 56$ plan... Just be careful, since you are going from an unlimited plan to a plan with X number of minutes and Data, the minutes and data will be prorated and you will have less for the rest of the month and you risk of going over... :)

If your wondering how to figure out how many minutes and how much data you will have for the rest of the month since it prorated just do the following.

Minutes or data for full month - Divided by 30 days - multiply by the # of days left for the month = How many minutes or how much data you have for the remaining part of the month.
