change role to account administrator?

How do I change role to account administrator? I am the owner and there's no self-serve option that I can see to do this. Have been asked by the sales rep at the koodo store to change the role to change the role account administrator to make billing changes?

Looks the only roles available are manager and owner, and that are not editable online on self-serve.

Can you please advise?

hi iphone_user:

What would you like to do that you need to change the account admin role?.

If you are the sole owner of the account, you are the owner of it. I don't think you can change to something else.

I have another person on my account, and they would like to change take over their billing and phone number, so when he went into the koodo store, the sales rep asked him to ask the owner to make him an account administrator. Hope that makes more sense?

If that person want to take over the billing and phone number, then you need to do a "transfer of ownership" (which cost you $10). I don't think you can just simply make another person owner/admin of the account in selfserve.

You cannot do it in selfserve.

You could call in, the owner need to call first to inform the agent. The other person can call later, he need your account number and have to satisfy the credit check requirement https://www.koodomobile.com/help/credit-check-requirements

Quicker way is to visit a Koodo kiosk. You and the other person can do the transfer there.

@iphone_user Here is what the Koodo sales rep was talking about. You have to log in to the account through self serve. Click on my profile then role management. You then change their status on the account.

You can't change this status online. I went into the store and they did this for me. I believe an older version of serlf serve allowed this. Koodo phone support is not a reasonable option, I was on hold for over an hour, and then when I finally connected, the agent hung up on me. It's dealt with now so that's great! Thanks everyone for the help with this!

My daughter has the phone. I want her to have the account. This should not be so hard.

@Trish: then you need to do the "transfer of ownership", not the admin right. The fee is $10. Your daughter is also required to contact Koodo. They would need to do a credit check on her. https://www.koodomobile.com/help/credit-check-requirements

yeah, well, ok -- but I've been waiting half an hour on the phone to pay $10. This is absolute crap.

Calling has been always busy, you could setup a callback through the bot https://www.koodomobile.com/help/

I've given up. Also, when customer service lines say "we're currently busier than expected..." it's just another line of *^&^& they're trying to feed us.
