Two days ago I opened a Koodo account but now wish change my plan but I am told on the website that I need to wait, but the plan I wish to go to will no longer be available by the date I am asking to wait till. How can I get around this?

I have called into Koodo and was told that if they were to change my plan it will cost an extra $10. This is why I figured I would go online and make the change, but it seems that Koodo won't let me do this till the beginning of my next billing cycle. The special I am looking to change to expires on May 1st. and that is the day I am told I can make the change.
