My daughter needs to change her phone number since she is moving to go to college. My 1st question is can the number be changed and she stay on my plan and 2 when I tried to change the number the city where she will be living doesn't show up. (St. Thomas, Ontario) only London and aylmer show up which is long distance for potential employers to call her how do I get her a St Thomas number on my plan?

If Koodo does not have any St Thomas numbers available, the only option would be to choose a number from the closest city.

You can sign up for an internet or VoIP provider like Fongo or CallCentric and get a St.Thomas number, if available. If so, you can get those calls forwarded to your daughter's current number at very little cost.

Local St. Thomas businesses see a local number and your daughter's current friends can still call her without paying for long distance or changing their contact list.

Canada wide plans are pretty popular these days. I say stick with a number that she will most likely use for the rest of her life.

And long distance calls by employers is usually the cost of doing business. 99% of the time they won't even care due to the mobility of Canadians these days.

FYI,  Its not Long Distance from London to St. Thomas.  So a London # would work.
