change 2 existing phones to prepaid?

I have 3 phones on my account, I would like to transfer my 2 teenagers phones to their name, however they dont have credit cards, is it possible to change the ownship on these phones to a prepaid plan? Thank you

You can set each up with a prepaid plan & port the numbers out to the new accounts, which will close the current accounts, leaving any balance in your hands. It is not possible to transfer ownership to prepaid because of the differences in the way the programs work.

OK, then OP could transfer her two teenager's lines to prepaid to her name, and then change the names on those lines to her kids' names after the fact once they're prepaid! Problem solved!

I think what David suggested was a lot simpler... just buy two prepaid SIM cards and port out the numbers to those. That will automatically close the postpaid lines without having to worry about names whatsoever :)
Thank you, I've given the teens 2 weeks to get their prepaids set up.  They are not happy.

I'm sure they'll live Christine :D Once they turn 18/19, they will be able to transfer back to a postpaid account in their own name, if they so desire.
