Hi Mike,

If there is no cellular network available, there is not much Koodo can do for you.

If you go under your cellular settings, you can take a look if you can manually scan for a network.

Just to add

What you're paying for is discounted use of roaming service where service is available.

That part of AZ may not have ANY service. If you check out AT&T or T-Mobile websites and look at coverage you'll see huge gaps in the southwest. That being said, I often found that TMOBILE coverage worked in areas where AT&T didnt.

If you have an android head over to settings...wireless and networks . . . more mobile networks.... Network selection...

Switch it to manual

Let the phone perform a scan and present you with a list of available networks.

Tap a network to attempt a connection.

Hope thus helps

Mesa is a major suburb of Phoenix. About as far into the wilderness as Rexdale, ON is from downtown Toronto. AT&T shows full signal availablity.

Try Chad's suggestion. You may have to re-boot the phone or toggle though airplane mode a few times.

But I gather that you are back and it may be too late to help...

It is my experience that in that area you can have cell service with Verizon.

Except that's a cdma network out there and koodo phones typically can't use the network. And koodo roaming agreement doesn'tiinclude Verizon so even if you can tap the network, it won'txonnext.

I just mentioned what is possible to do to get cellphone service in remote areas of Arizona. My phone hooks up to almost every provider in North America and Europe, so I just stick in an appropriate SIM Card and I am in business. In Canada Koodo has a very decent service but, as soon as you leave Canada, ......good luck.!
