Been thinking of changing cell companies, but very curious as to your service range in Canada. There are some provinces and territories that have terrible service for smart phones. How does your service range compare? What towers do you use?

Koodo uses Telus' towers, so wherever you get Telus, you're likely to also get Koodo.

Koodo uses Telus towers and partners

Check out the coverage map for your area

Smartphones use hspa coverage with koodo so that's what you'll want to check

Here's the link to the coverage map

Koodo uses Telus towers. Now, as Telus and Bell have a tower sharing agreement, we get coverage coast to coast. Here is a map of our coverage in Canada: http://help.koodomobile.com/coverage-...

With the Koodo Canada Wide plans, you'll be able to go from coast to coast without worrying about roaming charges or long distance charges.

Here are our current plans available: https://shop.koodomobile.com/plans/pl...

Hope this helps! :)

It really depends on where you live. If you happen to live in a large densely populated urban centre, coverage is generally good. If you're located in a rural area and coverage looks spotty on the coverage map, you may want to call Koodo and speak with a customer service rep to verify that there is coverage in that area.

I prefer cellmapper as a more practical and realistic way to check how coverage really is in certain areas.

Koodo uses Bell/Telus towers, so the following link should help:

If you let us know what coasts you want to explore, we can let you know what to expect.

As for the roaming agreement, Telus only roams on Bell in the boonies of Ontario and Quebec. Elsewhere they have their own towers and rent space from different tower companies.
