Koodo's owned by Telus and shares the same towers. So that happens sometimes. It's happened to me on several occasions. It won't affect anything regarding your billing, service etc.

Bell & Koodo/Telus share many towers & other infrastructure. With the new extended roaming agreement, if you search for available networks, you will often see Bell, Koodo, Telus and Rogers depending on your location.

As long as your service is working, it's nothing to worry about. As a matter of fact, you will sometimes get better coverage than if you were locked into Koodo only.
