How do I get my phone to connect to data only for pictures. My old phone HTC One V did this, and would automatically connect to data to send/recieve pictures only and I want my new HTC Desire phone to do the same. I have unlimited messaging and this is why I want it to only connect to data for this, so that i don't get charged with data for other stuff. Please help

If you search there are some workarounds posted in the community but they don't work for all phones.

Your best bet is to keep your data turned off on your phone until you want to send a picture.

Make sure to disable background data and auto syncing for any apps you may have.

Background data van be disabled via settings.

Wireless and networks...data usage... tap the three dots on the upper right hand corner.

As for apps you'll just have to go through the ones you use all the time and disable them from syncing in the settings.

This also means you'll have to auto refresh your apps when you're on wifi btw
