My LG optimus one wont receive calls. I can dial out no problem, but all calls go straight to voicemail.

That's strange. Have you tried a battery pull? Remove the battery and sim card out of the phone. Wait for about 30 seconds - 1 minute and put it back in. Restart the device and see if calls can be made to your phone.

tried that, I'll give it another go for a bit longer, but I'm sure it was at least 30s

no go second time. pulled the batt for at least a min

should also note that Koodo customer service was less than stellar.

A factory reset might help.

Hey Pete, I recommend you give our Technical Support a call (*611 Option 6) and they'll be happy to assist :).

For the record: a factory reset worked. We were able to save all the contact info. Don't remember the name of the second guy that helped us, but he was very knowledgeable and friendly. The first guy we talked to actually hung up on us after not really getting even what the problem was. Thanks to all who responded.

How did you save the data before the factory reset?? I too have no incoming calls or texts...but I can send texts or phone out fine.
