Can't seem to change my credit card info on my account but when I topped up it took the money off the card I am trying to register

So I have been trying to change the card that registered to my account because I am told you no longer except pivot prepaid visa. I have been trying to register my td visa debit but it just won't do it. ( the info is the same as my bank cause I copied and pasted right from there) so I thought for the fun of it I would try to top up my account with the card that's there and see if it will go through and it did but it came out of my td visa. I keep looking at my account but it's still showing my old card. Weird. I have tried emailing koodos on the weekend and have yet to receive a reply. Any help would be awesome.

That's what I thought to Todd but I did it on Saturday and it's still showing my old card lol. It's a big glitch lol.

You said you "copied and pasted the information" from (presumibly) your online banking. But you don't need the information from there.

Take your card out of your purse/wallet and enter it like you see it right on the card. It looks like you just "copied and pasted" your own visa information and not visa debit which your actual card number would never show up on online banking, rather your account number.

No I copied and pasted the address part. I can't do that with my card. I entered the card number like I was suppose to. I do have an idea of what I am doing Ahmad. Nice try though lol.

Hey Melissa,

You cannot top up with a credit card that has not been previously registered successfully. If you were able to top up using your new credit card, this means that the registration worked. Have you tried logging in again to see if the info was updated?

Yes Veronica I know that lol and no it's still showing my old card but is letting me top up using the card I tried registering. It doesn't make sense like I said.

Yep just looked again and it's still showing my old card and when topping up it comes off the card it won't let me register.

Hello Melissa,

If after a day, you’re still seeing the old payment information then there must be an issue with your Self Serve profile. Probably just a slight glitch.

Since we can’t access your account here, you'll need to call 611. There’ll be no charge for that call cause it’s a technical issue. :)
