Can't receive phones call from a Amec phone number

I have OnePlus 5T phone with unlimited US and Canada minutes, unlimited texts, 5G data with voicemail, call display and a number that has been ported over.  When I receive a phone call from Amec FW / Wood PLC in Vancouver, it will ring once or twice and then hang up or I will answer it and nobody is there.  When I call the number back, everything works fine.  The individuals that are calling me say that it rings and rings with voice never picking up and some times the call is dropped...  I think it drops when I pick up.  I'm pretty sure my voice mail will pick up after 6 rings for anybody else.  Anybody know why this is happening?

Has this happened before?
Does this happen with others who call you?

Voicemail should pick up prior to 6 rings, unless you it was changed

This happens every time an individual calls me from Amec in Vancouver.  I don't think I have had this issue with anybody else.  I just started noticing the issue about 3 weeks ago.  4 different individuals from 4 different numbers have called and all run into the same issue.  They usually send me an email to call them after they have tried calling me.

Haven't change my voicemail settings and it doesn't seem to pick up the Amec calls.

Weird.  Maybe it has to do with their outbound calling system? Do they have issues calling other people or just you?

I also have a OnePlus 5T that I've been using reliably for about 5 weeks now on Koodo (and since Nov 22 2017 on Koodo's sister brand Public Mobile, also owned by Telus and operated on the same network) without issue.

It is weird!  I haven't asked if I'm the only person that has this issue.

It is a great phone and I love having a phone with no bloated apps that are embedded into the phone.

Terry are you by any chance using a 3rd party app to block unwanted calls like : true ID or Hiya caller ID. If so lower the App settings.
If not, then reset your network settings and "re-register" on the network.

Last resort should be a "backup/factory reset".

Hope the issue get resolved soon mate.

I am not using any 3rd party apps to block unwanted calls. I will try to re-register on the network to see if that solves the issue.  I feel like this isn't a hardware issue with my phone and more an issue of the network passing the call to my phone.  I might be wrong but that is my gut feeling and I will try to reset my phone if I need to knock that off the list.

I don't know anybody else that is on Koodo so I can't test it.

I could try that and see what happens.
