can't pay off my tab

Hi, I can't pay off my tab. I've been with Koodo for 90+ days and have paid all bills. However, when I try to pay the Tab off, I'm given three reasons, none of which are relevant. Could you help?

What are the reasons you are given when you try to pay it off?

Based on your profile, you are not eligible to complete this transaction.  Potential reasons for this are:

  • You have not been with Koodo for at least 3 months
  • You have not yet paid off your first bill
  • You are on the spending limit program
All three reasons are invalid: I have been with koodo for over 90 days, I paid off 3 bills, and I don't even know what the last option could be!

If those reasons are invalid,, then you need to contact them to fix your problem.
(I have received this message before when I tried to change my plan . It's like a  system glitch.)

Send them a PM through FB would be better than call in.

Your first bill is only a part month so are you sure you've been with koodo for 90 days, what day did you sign up with koodo exactly?

I assume that you're going to stay with Koodo for months to come. You are not paying any interest on your tab so you don't have to rush. Just give it a try next billing period.

I have been with Koodo since May 8th, so definitely over 90 days.

I want to pay off my tab and cancel since I'm rarely in Canada these days and when I am I only use Fido $15 internet plan.

You have to call Koodo to cancel and when you do your tab automatically gets put onto your final bill so just give them a call and everything will be handled for you.

Hi Konstantin - you're unable to pay-off the tab because your account is on seasonal hold, and has been for over 3 months. You need to have an active account/plan in order to request tab repayment, and active service with Koodo for 90-days. You'll need to speak with an agent to cancel your account, at which point the outstanding tab amount will be charged to your final bill, along with any activation credits that may no longer be valid, due to your account status.
