Can't buy new phones for the kids for XMas online?

I've got a three part problem, so getting really frustrated.  I'm trying to buy my kids new phones for XMas, and saw that Koodo has an offer on the Moto X Play where I get 150 dollar Visa card when you purchase - but online only.  Great!  So off I go to the site to buy them.  I get logged in, select the phone (but I can't specify two), and it asks me if I want to transfer an existing line - I do, but not until after XMas, so not sure what to do - then it asks me to login again - weird.  Click on login - site crashes with the message "he website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later.".  

Tried calling the web store support and they're not open.  At 11:30 on a weekday Toronto time.  Seriously?  

So to reiterate 
1.  Can't seem to get the 150 gift card to sort itself out when I try to buy the two phones.  Can't select more than one phone.  Can't seem to get the webstore to unselect the option to buy a sim as well - the kids already have them.
2.  Store crashes.
3.  No support to help me resolve this.

With the way upgrades are done, you might have to process each upgrade by itself. When you go to upgrade, login to self-serve and make sure the right phone line is selected. Then proceed to add it to your car, etc.

I'm fairly positive the transfer an existing line is for new activations who want to port their exisiting number from another carrier, not for upgrades. There's nothing to transfer when purchasing a new phone, you just put your existing sim card in the new phone. 

Anyways, it should ask somewhere how much you want to put on the tab, which you would put the full amount (a $15/month tab charge will be added to each bill). Then proceed to checkout. And do it again for the other line by going into self-serve and choosing the other phone line from the drop-down menu.

I would figure that if you have a question that the online form cannot deal with, web store support should help for free. Trying to reach them again seems reasonable. If you can't reach them, a friendly koodo place like London Drugs might be able to call koodo for you not sure. Obviously you need to get support to transfer the number later but perhaps you won't be eligible for the deal with this added piece. As far as the number of phones, could you not just do it twice and get your rebate each time?

Yes - happy to do it twice if needed.  Not a big deal.  

The support is literally not open until 3 p.m. Ontario time.  Super weird.  Problem is I'm giving a presentation then.  

And now when I login the 150 dollar visa gift card offer is gone once I drill down to the phone purchase screen (It's there on the Shop Phones page).  If I'm not logged in it's still visible.  Very frustrating.

Have you called the actual web store number? 1-844 566-3697. Or is that the number you were trying and is closed?

What do you mean it's gone? Like the ad? That doesn't matter, you'll still get it

I'd like to think so, but when all evidence during the purchase process is gone, it's worrying.

Maybe there's a catch I'm not aware of?

You just have to actually be "upgrading" each line and applying the full amount to the tab of each line and you'll get the gift card
