I recently could not access my imessage. I've been on airplane mode for almost a month now because I'm overseas. But this is the first time that I cannot use my imessage. It says "waiting for activation" on settings. Can someone from koodo help me out too?
How are you using your phone overseas? Just over wi-fi or did you get a SIM card from a local phone company? IMessage requires data, which you would get through wi-fi. If the connection to the modem isn't strong enough though your phone would be looking for a network connection. This may cause that message you are seeing. Make sure the wi-fi connection is good and you should be ok.
Hi RudyW! Thanks for the reply. I'm just using it over wi-fi. I have restored use of iMessage BUT through my email address as an alternative account. My concern now is... why am I not reachable through my Koodo number. My friends still won't be able to reach me unless I text them first using the alternative account. I'm wondering if Koodo deactivated my number (i'm a monthly subscriber tho), because it looks that way from my end.
