Cannot log in Prepaid Self Service

For a few days, I cannot log in my prepaid self service account. It only goes to https://prepaidselfserve.koodomobile..... Shows me a WELCOME word and then freeze there. Does anyone else have this problem?

Unfortunately, yes DD... it is a problem that seems to have hit a few of us. On the positive side, Koodo is aware of it and working on a solution :)

Are you getting an error message or the same thing as before where the page freezes on Welcome?

I think there are 2 separate issues affecting prepaid users, Chris. Some people were getting redirection errors from the website and that kinda stuff.

In my case (and other people's), we could log in, but once in, all the screen was showing is "Welcome" and then nothing else.

I think the former was website related, the second account related.... but I've been wrong in the past ;)

........... and to confuse matters, my problem (the redirect loop error) is now solved, whereas the "Welcome" error still seems to be present :)

I'm not able to log in either. It just seems to hang on the "waiting for Koodo" message on the bottom left of my browser.

Edit: I was finally able to log in but it took about 5 minutes of waiting.

Every day, I see Welcome.... :P
So naturally, every day, I prepare tea and talk back a bit :)

Then I read some posts in a language I can't comprehend by a frequent poster :)

Prepaid self-service just keeps getting worse and worse. It's almost like they want to drive us away (or to post-paid, which has a higher ARPU).

DD, what is it that you need to do in Self Serve? Perhaps you should call CS and ask them if they'll waive their charges to help you do whatever it is you need to do.

Is any technician really working on this problem? It's hard to understand a technical issue takes that long to solve. May be Koodo really is trying to force us to post-paid. :(

Yes, they found the source of the problem, but no solution on their side. Luckily, it appears you can solve it yourself very easily :)

Do you have an account on Public Mobile as well? If so, change your login email address there, and your Koodo prepaid login should be miraculously solved! Let us know if that worked for you!

I moved from Public Mobile to Koodo so I don't have an account there anymore. This solution doesn't work for me.

Ahaaaaaaaaa, but we ARE onto something :) Call CS (*611) and ask them to change your email address to something else in self service and see if you can get in then :) I'm sure Koodo is working on a solution but at least you'll be able to get in in the interim!

Okkkk! Thank you very much Sophia. So this does work. Koodo must have a hugh fight with Public Mobile. I remember having a lot of trouble moving the number over to Koodo. Now they are messing up with my email address. Well, at least there is a way to get around it.

Im still having this problem, iv called 611 and it seems like they don't care, its so hard for me to check my data. iv been dealing with this for like 3 months, I should be compensated data or something, starting to regret going with koodo. please help!

Do you have a Public Mobile service as well as some of the above people? Change your email login and that should fix things. Most people have multiple email addresses anyways.
