Cannot deactivate call forwarding

Im on a monthly plan with a galaxy s7 in Ontario. I activated call forwarding in December and deactivated it (I thought) by dealing *720 after a weeks trip away. The $3 fee has appeared on my bill again this month so I tried deactivating online through self serve but, as usual, this never seems to work. I keep getting error messages each time I use this.

So I dialed *720 and hit dial.... has it deactivated? I had no confirmation. Is there someone from Koodo who can look into this for me please?

There are 2 issues at work here. Dialing the star codes on the phone (*21 ##### etc.) activates the forwarding function for your calls. Unless you have the add-on for $3 a month, which you have to activate on your account, you will be charged on a per-call basis rather than the $3 flat rate for a month.

Dialing the cancel code on your handset simply returns your phone to normal operation. If you want to remove the $3 per month and go back to per-call, you will have to do this on your account.

If you cannot get this done online, send Koodo a message on their Facebook page, referencing the above. Those folks have access to your account details and settings.
