I called about an incorrect charge on my bill and was granted a credit but was told they "couldn't credit taxes". Why? If the incorrect charge was taxed then the credit should have the taxes credited also.

Hey Alan! If you were given a goodwill credit for valid charges, then the taxes are not credited since it's a chargeable service. If you were given a credit because of a system or agent provisioned mistake, then the taxes should be removed. If you believe that in your specific situation the taxes should have been removed, can you please email us via this secure link http://koo.do/11eMLdy? Select "Social Media" as a category so that we can locate your email quicker and we will look into this for you!
