Please help. Thanks!

If you have a phone with a SIM card, log into self serve.

Step 1: Go to the Plans and Add-ons page and select Add-ons. If you do not already have Pay Per Use Intl Long Distance add-on ($0/month) in your included services or optional add-ons, add this. In addition, you will need to add International Voice Roaming ($0/month) in order to call and text, while travelling outside of Canada and the U.S.

Step 2: After you've added the above feature successfully, return to the Plans and Add-ons page and add International Data Roaming. This feature will not be available until you complete Step 1. This is a $0 add-on and will enable you to use data services while travelling abroad. Just a heads up, you’ll only need to complete this step if you want to use data while travelling. If you’re not planning to use data, you can skip this step.

If you have a phone without a SIM card, you simply need to ensure you have Pay per use international calling add on($0/month). Without this feature, you will not be able to call or text.

Seems like Koodo has blocked everything by default to folks having the nerve to travel to Europe without consulting them. Some if the above add-ons just recently started appearing. Spent the better part of 2 days trying to help a subscriber visiting Belgium.

Give them their money's worth on the phone line.

for those of us who can understand that frustration and can read French.

No good deed goes unpunished.

You can only rely on what the poster gives you and what you can drag out of them and the best of your knowledge in an effort to help. Call in was what I suggested from the beginning and that was what worked.

Wasn't aware that I've just been promoted to unpaid prosecuting attorney and whipping boy.

I did post publicly that your solution helped, so what's the beef?

Ummm if I'm coming off with a beef it's not intentional. No beef. I honestly didn't know if you were having a problem.

Just gave you an extra star for your trouble. However, there will be a mid-term exam on this topic in the morning....

Koodo should let people know that they're not automatically set up to use their phone outside of Canada

This info was taken directly from.Koodo far. One needs only to research before their trip to be sure they will have service.
