Last night, I went and got set up with a Koodo plan as a new customer.  The girls at the kiosk walked me through the registration steps.  I got a notification saying my account had been registered and I just needed to confirm my email.  The link which was emailed to me doesn't work it says 'no account is linked to this profile'.

If I try to register again, I enter my name, account number etc. and it says ' service not available'.

This is a really bad introduction to Koodo- and the ladies at the kiosk informed me that if I call customer service for assistance I will be charged $10...which seems ridiculous as I can't actually 'self serve' yet.

Please help!!

You Would have only been charged if you called to ask them to set it up for you; you will not get charged for calling about an issue that you have and cannot solve. It sounds like they nee to restart the setup and then it should work if you are certain you have the credentials typed properly. May as well tr another device / browser just in case but after that I'd say call to get the registration redone and explain the issue.

Hi Grace - sorry to hear about your bumpy start. There could be a few different factors in the account not registering, but we can start by checking the back-end to make sure your email is registered correctly (i.e. without any typos). Is the email you used to register your Koodo account the same as the email you used to register as a member of this Community? And, would you feel comfortable sharing the full name the account is under? If not, to Goran's point we don't charge if you call in for this type of scenario.. but would love to try and resolve your issue here if possible.

Same problem as the poster...just changed from Telus to Koodo...during login, error appears that we are waiting for confirmation from the email, while the email does not include any type of confirmation link...

I think the technical team should be looking into this now...

Not a good first impression though..!!

Khurram,
You may be caught by the registration of your email address as a Telus customer, and trying to become a Koodo customer. A Customer Service Rep may need to do an account reset.

You can contact Koodo on Facebook or Twitter.  How-To: you can send a tweet to @koodo - and one of Koodo’s agents will help take the conversation private, or send them a private message from facebook.com/koodo. Koodo Phone Numbers: *611 from your cellphone, 1-866-995-6636, or +1 647-788-4337 but often means waiting on the line for a CSR, so Facebook or Twitter is usually less time consuming.

Recently I got a Koddo sim and try to make online account . When I finish my registration and get a link at email but I am unable to open my account . It’s written that (Looks like this account has already been linked to another email address. You're still waiting for permission from the owner of that email address. We'll email you once you're approved.)
Please help I try to pay my bill

Kamaljeet,
You may be caught by the registration of your email address as a Telus customer or previous Koodo, and trying to become a Koodo customer. It is also possible your email address was entered with an error when you first subscribed. A Customer Service Rep may need to do an account reset.

You can contact Koodo on Facebook or Twitter.  How-To: you can send a tweet to @koodo - and one of Koodo’s agents will help take the conversation private, or send them a private message from facebook.com/koodo.
