I just bought a Koodo prepaid SIM card yesterday, I have tried many times to activate my account through self serve but still can't be activated. I don't know why it cannot be process when it comes to choose a new phone number . It's no option under select your local calling area. That's why cannot continue. And it's said 15 dollar needed to call for activate my SIM card. So how now???

I believe some ppl were told to go to a koodo booth to have it activated as something to do with fraud online at the moment. But others are able to get it done no problem. Not sure why its not working at the moment or for everyone

Hey Matthew! Just to confirm, you're clicking on the dropdown menu next to "locale required" to select a new number? Can you also try clearing out your cookies & cache? No issues have been reported with our website.  If you're still experiencing issues, give us a call and we'll help you get set up free of charge since you're experiencing an issue with the website.  Our stores will not be able to activate your prepaid service.  Thank you! - Melissa

Hi Mathew, I have the same issue. I cannot activate my prepaid SIM. I have select "select a new number", then "transfer number...", then again "select a new number", and it displays a dropdown list empty, so it does not allows me to select  any area code because the list is emptty. I have cleared the cache, tested in diferent browser and in diferent laptops and it does not work. I called to Koodo and they said that if they activate my prepaid SIM I have to pay.  Can You help me activate my prepaid Sim, this is suposse to be free.

Contact support at *611. They seem to be better equipped to handle prepaid enquiries than Twitter or Facebook channels.

i'm having this issue right now.
I cleared my cache and cookies.
I'm using firefox 53 and I also tried with chrome 58.
When I look at the dev console, it says that jquery-ui not loeaded because of "mixed active content".
After few test I see that jquery-ui is load in http and it needs to be loaded in https from the cdn.

Anyway, the fix is just a matter of adding a "s" after http in the code for "http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jqueryui/1.8.16/jquery-ui.min.js"

I'm still unable to load my prepaid card..... xD

I activated it by calling koodo customer care from my friends koodo mobile. I think it is the only option & and u have to tell all your details on phone, it takes 20min. It's going to test your patience.
Good luck:)

It just took me 2 minutes to activate. Use Internet Explorer.
