I bought a Samsung Galaxy Ace II from a Koodo outlet about a year ago, and about 2 months ago they cancelled my number without notifying me at all. I was also never able to access my account online, as when I typed in my email they said it was invalid and locked me out, though I still recieved emails by them to that very account.

I just bought a prepaid voucher in hopes of obtaining a new number and reactivating my phone, but i can't login online still, and when I tried to re-register, it said my SIM was invalid. Please help! I tried calling customer support already, but there was nothing that I could do from there. I need to know how to reactivate this phone with the same SIM because I can't afford a new phone or SIM card, and I need one for my new job.

They definitely notified you if you were going to be suspended due to non-pay or SLP limit... it's usually text or e-mail. You might have ignored the texts and the emails might have been placed in the junk folder by accident.

Carriers can't just instantly cut off your service if you had your bills paid on time unless you did something to violate the terms of use; it's CRTC rules.

I highly recommend you call customer service again when they open to figure out what happened to your postpaid account. It might not be too late to pay off the old account so it doesn't go to collections and affect your credit rating.

The other thing is if you did want to start up service again with prepaid, they use their own SIM cards, so you'll have no choice but to go buy a new one. They cost $20 + tax, but the package comes with a $20 credit to the prepaid account once activated, so it's "free".
