If I get a Koodo plan and decide to cancel before the 24 month period is up do I only pay for the remaining cost of the phone or is there also a cancellation fee

an outstanding charge could be a cancellation fee of a 24 month plan or are they called deactivation charges

no, things like long distance, minute overage, etc.. anything that would trigger a charge outside of your normal plan. there is no deactivation or cancellation charges. you just need to pay the last month of your service that you are in, and pay any remaining balance on your tab.

no troubles.. that is what the koodo community is all about....
So if you have a monthly 2 year contract and you want to cancel you will only have to pay your current bill plus the last bill dated from the date of call to cancel? No $200 charge or anything ? I want to cancel my daughters phone because she will be getting a pay as you go phone so she can learn what responsibility is. Teenagers lol

Plus any tab balance still owing for the phone.
How do I find out if there is still money owing on the phone?

Log into self serve > Click on "Self serve" tab > Koodo tab
