What have I to do to cancel my cell phone plan? How much I will have to pay to cancel? I got my cell phone because of the plan, will I have to return the phone?

Hi Lucas,

In order to cancel your account you would need to speak to customer service. Generally what you need to pay after cancelling is pay the last month of service plus any tab balance remaining. And if you have had the phone for a while it would be yours to keep if you wanted to.

If you need to contact customer service you can dial *611 from your Koodo phone or 1-866-995-6636 from any other phone. Just press 0 a few times to get in touch with a representative. Their hours of operation are as follows:

Hours of Operation

Monday − Friday: 10am - 9pm

Saturday: 9am - 7pm

Sunday: 9am - 7pm

Hi Daniel, the phone belongs to the customer from day 1 :) Within the first 15 days, it can be returned but past that, a customer will have to keep the phone. Thank you!

If I want to cancel, do I need to pay one month service charge? OR can I provide one month notice before the cancellation..

If you signed your contract (Tab) after December 2, 2013, they have to stop charging you the second you cancel. If you signed it before that date, and they charge you for an extra month and then don't refund it when you ask them, filing a complaint at will get you the result you want in less than a week.
If you don't have a Tab, you're in the "after December 2, 2013" category.
