cancel line hold time

I know it's been said before, but just reiterating. To be on hold for over an hour to cancel a line is horrid. It's been an hour and still waiting for someone to pick up.  There should be a better solution.

There's been talk of a priority type system based on what you need but that hasn't happened so....hope for the best some day?

There won't be as there's too much room for error letting customers do it themselves, I mean they took away switching SIM cards because customers were using it improperly so cancelling an entire line would be a nightmare I'm sure. That and I'm sure they want to talk you into staying if possible

Hmmmm....the wait time from what I can tell from our end is virtually zero. Were you transferred by a rep Daniel?

I got a hold of someone kinda quick, but then after speaking to him, he transferred me to the cancellation dept. That wait time was 1HR 15 min

That is not acceptable. Any rep should be able to cancel. To make you wait on hold for over an hour is just wrong.

Only supervisors are able to cancel accounts.

If you switch to another carrier, you wont even need to call koodo to cancel.  Porting out has the new carrier do all the work for you

In this situation a port out is not applicable. I had 4 lines on my account, and no use for one of them. I simply needed to cancel 1 line/phone number.
