If you're on a tab and want to cancel service, do you just pay off your tab balance, or are there additional fees for cancelling?

No penalties or additional fees here, just pay the remaining tab balance.

Do it in person. Or record the call. We have been trying to pay off the balance and end out koodo contract for months.... We are still being billed monthly to my knowledge. But I can't say for sure because they keep forgetting to send her an email, or mail things to our house.
And just give us harassing phone calls every few months telling us to pay. But won't give me the how much to pay. Let alone dispute any of the charges.

Don't forget that monthly services bill you in advance for rate plans and features. So when you cancel, any remaining tab balance is charged to your account PLUS the bill in advance services.

Hello Ally and Craig,

If you decide to cancel, you will only be billed the tab balance, additional usage (if it’s the case) and the taxes.

Regarding the plan, because the bill with Koodo is always paid one month in advance, you will be charged the corresponding amount from the start of your billing cycle to the date of the cancelation. The remaining amount will be reimbursed on your last bill.

Also, keep in mind that you still have access to your Self-Serve 90 days from the cancelation, and you will be able to access your last bill there.

Many thanks!
