Canada Wide Calling confusion

My plan includes Canada wide long distance and calls are free after 5pm, so does this mean I can call long distance after 5pm without anything coming off my initial minutes? Don't see anywhere that really explains this.

Thanks

calls between 5pm to 8am don't use any minutes also no long distance throughout canada. So calls after 5 pm are free :)

just dont know why I heard " you might be charged for long distance call" when I made a call to BC from Calgary after 5 pm. my plan is unlimited after 5 pm.

Hi Eric,

It's an automated system that informs you that the call is a long distance, the only issue is that the system has no way of telling what your plan has for features so it will say it anyway, unless you dial a 1 in front of the 10 digit number so that it knows you're making a long distance call and you're accepting the 'charges'. Otherwise if you have a Canada wide plan, pick up the phone and call all you want after 5 pm (unless you have unlimited minutes, call anytime you want) and you won't see any charges for long distance.

Hope that helps :)
