Hello, I am currently on the Canada Wide Calling 20 for $20 per month. This plan is gives me unlimited messaging (picture and text). However, I cannot receive any picture messages. It says I need to "Download Now" and it ex[pires on a certain date, however, when I click on it, nothing happens! How can a get my picture message sback?

What type of phone are you using?

If it's an older Blackberry that doesn't take a sim card they cannot receive pictures.

If it's any newer phone taking a sim card you need to enable your data connection for picture messaging to function. Be careful as you would be responsible for any data charges for any other apps/background functions.

It is a Blackberry Curve 3g. I have been able to send picture messages in the past however. Someone will send me a picture and it gives me "***Not Retrieved Yet*** Download Now Expires_______"(date)

Hey Curt, your data services are working when you aren't connected to wifi, is that correct?

In order to send MMS, you will need to add a data plan to your account. I would advise you to change to more recent plan with data enabled and unlimited messaging, disable your data from your phone, and only when you need to send or receive an MMS, you can enable it. All data related to MMS is not chargeable. However, any application update or browsing does come up with a charge.

Just to add onto what E-Wizard has said, you must have the Blackberry version of the rate plan for the data to work on any Blackberry device except for the Z10 & Q10.
