Hi everyone,
I am on a 3 year iPhone plan (3 year 65) and I just noticed in the koodo self service App that I can change it to a better plan now. Don't know if they just started it or I didn't notice it before, my question is has anybody tried this? And how does it effect the 3 year contract?
Thanks
S

Unfortinately, the iphone plans are no longer available since iphone contracts were discontinued. If you're looking for a price plan change you'd have to call in to customer service for this. Keep in mind if you switch to a non iphone price plan you will be billed out for the remaining ammount of your contract.

But I can do it in the self service App and it say's nothing about getting charged for the rest of contract amount. And can you please tell me what is the amount I will be charged if it's true. I am into 16 month of my 3 year contract.?

It does state it because it's what you agreed to when you signed up with the Iphone plan. You will need to call in to find out what the cancellation fee for the Iphone contract will be.

I don't have accesss to your account information. Koodo would have to provide you with a quote as to what your cancellation fee is. Koodo takes the amount of the discount and divides it by 36 months (e.g. $490/36). Each month you would owe 1/36th less of their initial discount.

Thanks guys for your quick response. Really appreciate it. I guess I will call koodo to find out about the cancellation stuff.

There are no more iphone contracts. I believe your subsidy has been moved to a tab and you are free to change your plan. However you may want to double check that.

iphone contracts don't migrade to the tab. Only with new iphone purchases are used with the tab.
