It will work but not very well as its missing frequencies Koodo , so you will get service in very limited areas. I wouldn't recommend getting it if it's a phone your looking to get, you want the 6602 model not 6603 even then the 6602 model doesn't have LTE

Yes, it'll work for calls/texts right away as long as it's unlocked, but you'll need the APN settings to use it with data. Go to the network settings in the phone (unsure of the exact steps on that model) and put these in for data/MMS to go through:

Name: Koodo SP
Proxy server:
Port: 80

MCC : 302
MNC : 220
APN type: default,mms,supl

What's the name of your current network sim?
Your sony xperia is free of any network lock or else if it's locked to current carrier means, you sim card will work.If you have a network locked phone and you want to use other than your current locked carrier, you will need to unlock your phone. For unlocking you can approach your service provider or else try to buy an unlocking service from any one of the online unlocking service provider like I hope it will be very useful to you.
