I currently have an iPhone 4 and I am happy with the device, but I want to switch from Rogers to Koodo.
I understand that I need to get it unlocked from Rogers first, but after that what do I need to do? If I take it to a Koodo store are they able to set me up there on the plan I want?
I am unable to find any information if Koodo still supports iPhone 4.
Also is there a fee to keep my number?
Thanks!

Iphone 4 is supported. Once it's unlocked you can go to a Koodo Shop and get set up with an account after a credit check.

If you don't want to spend the money to get it unlocked, you could always look into getting a new phone? There's great deals on the Moto G, Galaxy S III, Nexus 4, and HTC Desire 601... and then even sell your iPhone online to make up some extra cash. Just a suggestion.

Do I have to get an iphone 4 unlocked if I'm currently with Telus? (I've heard you don't need to since Koodo runs on Telus' network...)

Telus iPhones 4 and up work with Koodo interchangably. You're fine. However, if you want to use data, then make sure you plug your iPhone into iTunes and update the carrier settings after you switch over.

Thank you - so all I will need to do is buy a Koodo prepaid SIM card? Then I get registered wtih Koodo *before* cancelling my Telus account, correct? (We are done contract so I don't have anything to pay out with Telus)

Yep, all you need is a sim card. Enjoy the current prepaid double booster promos :)
