My question is related to travel and US roaming. I have not been able to find the answer on the website. I am wondering if you are able to "upgrade" (change, add on) to a roaming package if you find that it is not enough to meet your needs? I don't think I will require the package with data when in the US since there is supposed to be free wi-fi everywhere I am going to be. If I only add the US unlimited text and minutes package and then find the wi-fi to be poor can I upgrade to a different package or will my only option be to then pay $5 per 20mb on top of my text and minutes package?

Hi Michelle, your only option will be to use the data pay per use rate. So if you have any thought you might need the better more inclusive package you'll need to grab it first if you don't want to pay per use rates.

Thank you.  That's unfortunately what I thought.  I've just encountered my first thing I haven't liked about Koodo :(  I am travelling with a family member who is with a different carrier.  He will pay $30 for unlimited text and talk and 600mb of data.  I will pay $40 for unlimited text and talk and only 250mb of data or $30 for talk and text with no data.  I'll have to decide I guess.
