Can plans be changed to promotional plans or does it only apply to new customers?

I noticed Koodo changed their plans. If I purchase a phone today and plans go on sale can I aces the promotional plan or is it only available to new customers?

Plans usually are available to switch to without requiring you get s fresh tab. It's pretty rare otherwise and would specifically say something like "available to new and upgrading customers. "

Note that you are allowed to change your plan once per billing cycle on self serve

Thanks. I had seen the once per cycle comment on their page. I'm more curious about the promotional plans as they are quite different than what they use to be.

Yes, if there are promotional plans (which are available for current customers) you will be able to switch to those using selfserve. There is a limit of one change on selfserve but you could also do more by calling customer service or visiting koodo kiosks.

The only thing that's sometimes reserved for new customers is a special gift option with phone purchase. While some plans may have certain restrictions (e.g. Tab requirements), they're available to new and existing customers.
