Can one turn off completely useless automated prompts following the voicemail greeting?

Is it *still* impossible to eliminate the automated voice giving instructions on voicemail? I see from the thread that it was impossible 3 years ago, but I am so upset about it that I want to check that it is still the case. I have always resented having my time wasted when calling others whose providers seemed to think people need to be told to wait for the beep. I just signed up with Koodo and I will now be imposing this on others? Say it ain't so!

No, but your callers can bypass it by pressing #.

You can also use call-forwarding to send your callers to an alternate voicemail system of your choosing.

Thanks for responding so quickly, even if I didn't get the answer I wanted. I guess I will look into call forwarding options., and will hope that Koodo implements a change on this soon.
