Is the 3G network down in Calgary? I can not connect to a Mobile network. When I attempt to connect to a mobile network my options are:

Telus
WIND
Mobilicity
Rogers Wireless
Bell

... but there is no Koodo. I am attempting to use a Nexus 4 on the Koodo network.

Try and select Telus and see if that works.

Hi Dennis (Mobile Master),

When I select Telus, I get a message saying that "your Sim card is not recognized on this network". Any reason why Koodo doesn't show up in the list of mobile providers in Calgary? Is the Koodo mobile network down in Calgary right now?

Try pulling out your battery and sim for a few mins and try again.

I assume your bills are all paid up?

I'm not sure. I'm in Edmonton and it's working. I dunno about Calgary

The Nexus 4 doesn't have a removable battery.

If you are seeing that Telus is active then Koodo should be active. I would search your problem on Google and make sure you are searching with Nexus 4 as a key word. Could be a software glitch.

If you can, do a hard reset of the device by pressing the power button for 5-10 seconds and remove your sim card for a few minutes, put the sim card back in the phone and turn it on. The Nexus 4 does not have a removable battery so do not take it apart. If you cannot get signal after attempting that you may need to try a factory reset and try again.

If all else fails, try calling Koodo tech support from a different phone line at 1-866-995-6636, punch in your number and then press option 6, that will put you in touch with tech support.

Hope that helps :)
