I'm a student in London where the areas codes are 226 and 519 and I'm from Muskoka with a 705 number. Koodo has Canada wide calling so I figured I'd be okay to use my 705 number here without any added costs to my plan?

Hi Chelseay,

Yes you don't have to worry about it! I've been in the 905 area code but I keep my 613 number since that's my primary residence. Since I have the canada-wide plan, it does not make a difference.

Where it will make a difference is when people want to call you locally in London. Someone in London will incur long distance charges as they have to dial the 705 number to reach you.

Only if they don't have long distance minutes or unlimited nationwide calling.
