Would like to be able to check out the home phone to make sure it meets all our needs before committing to porting my Bell landline number.  I understand that there is 15 day trial period.  Can I try the phone for those 15 days with some other SIM card just to may sure everything works well in our rural environment.

Hi John, you can set up the home phone with a new number provided by Koodo and then when your comfortable with everything port an existing number over from any other carrier or another Koodo number.
Did this with my father's home phone to avoid possibly losing his Bell number he's had for over 30 years.

To port the old existing number later just sign into your self serve account and select to change the number

Yes you can test it out, but you would need to use the SIM supplied with the WHP device, and then port your number at a later date of your choosing. Porting can be completed through the self-serve portal at Koodo's website.
