I am just wondering. My son just moved out of my home and now I am losing a lot of money a month and was wondering if I could transfer his TAB to my phone so I can disconnect his phone. I can't afford to pay for his phone anymore.
You can log into self serve and suspend his service by marking the device as lost or stolen. Doing so will shut the device down.
Before you cancel, make sure to reactivate the service to be sure that the phone can be used again with koodo or another provider. If you don't the device will be always listed as lost or stolen and won't be functional or sellable.
You'll need to call customer service to cancel. You'll see the tab balance on your next bill. You cannot transfer it to another phone.however when you get the bill you can call again and make a payment arrangement for the remaining balance.
