Can I transfer my booster if I change my pre-paid plan to a different pre-paid plan?

My son currently has the $35 prepaid plan including unlimited messaging, unlimited Canada-wide incoming calls and unlimited Canada-wide 5pm evenings & weekends. He has a 100-minute talk booster (free with plan) and a 500-minute talk booster that I bought him thinking he would need it. Now I realize that he barely talks and he has not even touched the 500-minute booster since starting the plan in January. I want to switch him to the $15 per month unlimited text messaging plan. Can he transfer the unused booster to the cheaper prepaid plan? (If not I think it is a ripoff.)

Hi Susan, you can definitely just go ahead and switch your plan and your boosters will stay intact right where they are on the account so no worry about losing them.

Just a tip: switch his plan over on the last day before renewal, Susan, because changing plans would reset the plan renewal date... And you'd want to make the most of the current one :)

Thanks Sophia and Paul. Before I asked the question here, I had taken a few steps online to change the plan, and there was a popup that I must have misunderstood--I thought it said that changing plans would cause me to lose everything associated with the previous plan.
And just to confirm, even a partially-used booster will remain valid for the new prepaid plan, correct?

You are correct Susan partial and or full. Boosters will stay intact so no worries.
