Can I temporarily (6 months) suspend my prepaid account without losing the phone number, data, or talk boosters?

I'm currently on a basic $15 text plan with data and talk booster add-ons. Starting early December I'll be leaving the country for 6 months. If possible I would like to be able to still have my phone number, as well as any minutes/data remaining in the boosters upon my return. The simplest way to do this is keep paying while I'm away, but I don't feel like throwing away $90 for that time, given I won't be using my phone at all. Is there a way to keep these things for free or at a reduced cost?

Thanks.

You will have to top up within 90 days after expiry, or you will lose your number, account and boosters. That means that if you travel for 6 months, you only need to top up once and renew your base plan... so basically it will cost you $15 to keep your account, not $90 :)

So if I understand correctly...
My next automatic top-up is Nov 26. After that, I just disable automatic top-ups and leave it alone. A maximum of 90 days from that date (late Feb) I have to manually put in $15, and then in late May I reactivate automatic top ups just before my return May 27? Do I have to put in another manual payment just before that or will reactivating the auto pay be sufficient?

Yes, correct, with one exception. When you return in May, you will again have to manually top up to reactivate your base plan. After that, you can enable auto top up again :)
