No, the Note 8 can only be purchased online with a Credit card.

@Jessy Vachon: if you would like to buy the Note 8 outright (not via 2 yr phone plan agreement), you could buy it outright from TELUS, then use it on Koodo. There won't be any discounts in doing this.

Samsung finally started selling truly unlocked Note 8s at best buy I heard so there's also that route.

I saw that. I get the impression that OP would like to acquire the device from a carrier store. Just suggested the immediate alternative.

If buying outright, the unlocked deal at BestBuy is likely the way to go. My guess is that it flex locks, then call Samsung to get the code at no cost (like the Galaxy J3 and A5) when sold as "unlocked"?
