Can I get the Bonus Data Offer If I Swich Plans?

I have been a Koodo customer for about a decade and I was eligible for one of the new no-tab plans, with bonus data. 

It's kind of looking like I can't...which kind of peeves me, since I have been with Koodo for at least a decade. 

What's the deal?

"Bonus 3 GB of data for 24 months is applicable with all new activations or with the purchase a new phone with the Tab."

If you arent getting a phone on the tab then you arent eligible for the bonus data. Koodo does release plans from time to time for existing customers though. Just keep your eyes out.

Really?  Wow...that a bloody ripoff.  Keep my eyes out?  That makes it even funnier. 

Hey koodo...your welcome for my loyalty.  New guys get the plan...loyal customer get screwed...again.
What's the french word for showers again?  That's what I think of koodo right now.

They could do a lot of things...like allow me to get the bonus data plan they offer right now...but, they don't offer it to me.  I'm just the sucker who has been a loyal customer for a decade and doesn't want a new phone. 

Sure, I can call them, hat in hand for what they offer others already, but there is no guarantee they will change their mind...and frankly, to have that as my only option, (the success of which is a maybe at best), is ridiculous and insulting. 

It's so bloody exhausting,

Ydnkw, bonus data is permanent with the other two but with Koodo, Virgin and Fido, the plans are only available for new activations or upgrades on a tab. Unless im understanding what you said wrong.
I talked about this before. That is what they say, but you can simply log in on vm.ca, and change your plan to those that have 3 GB of bonus data without an upgrade.

I've never been with vm but good to know though. What great systems some companies have in place. Not sure why they even bother advertising one thing when you can easily avoid it.

You are free to port your number to another provider if you feel their plans better meet your needs.

I'm just a customer like you. I'm not loyal at all. I go where ever that offers me the best pricing.
