Can I change the APN (Access Point Name) in my iPhone settings?

Hello. I have an iPhone 5C and I am in Florida now traveling with the easy roam. Everything is working great for me.
The problem I am having is trying to access websites that are only accessible from inside of the US. I can access them just fine through local WiFi networks but not through Celular Data. I believe that the website still registers me as accessing it from outside of the US. I wonder if changing my APN would help or what else may be a good option and if I need to take any precautions.

This is a great question.  Unfortunately I dont know of any solution other than using a VPN when trying to access restricted content while back home in Canada.

If you are roaming on AT&T (as an example), you can try to use their APN, but it is not likely to work since you are still using a Koodo sim.

Thank you Dennis!

I am now connected to AT&T because I am down here in Florida. I was told that you also need the providers access code to connect to them that way here in the US.

Do you happen to know how to where I can find all the information? (Including AT&T's APN)

Yea, editing the APN settings will do nothing for you. TunnelBear is a VPN service which is exactly what you need!

Using the VPN will also work while you are in Canada trying to access regional content

@Till: Nice, it is good that you are happy with VPN, TunnelBear was free up to 500MB though.

Yeah, that's why most of them are paid. When used for streaming, finding a free one is not the easiest task. If you do, they're slow as hell.

I like using Tor or their Onion browser
