Yes.  Assuming you have not made a change to your plan before during this billing cycle

and don't forget that you will notice a higher bill after changing. Also, you don't get any extra allotments if you pick a higher rate plan. Meaning, if you pick a plan with 1gb of data because you used 600mb of your 500mb plan, you still get overage fees!

currently I'm on a 60 plan and want to switch to a 70 dollar plan so obviously I'll be paying for the new 70 dollar plan; is that what you mean by higher bill? Or is there additional charges for changing plans?

Hey Rob! Changing your rate plan via your Self-serve account won't cost you anything ;) On your following bill, you'll see the charges with the old plan until the change was made plus the charges of the new plan until the end of the month.
If you want to avoid any proration, you'll have to change your rate plan at the end of your current billing cycle. If you have more questions, feel free to give us a call by dialing *611 from your Koodo phone. Enjoy your weekend!
