can i buy more airtime minutes as an add-on rather than change my plan?

No just use the extra minutes over your plans alloted minutes and you'll be charged for them on your next bill at the pay per use rate, the same goes for data as well.

Changing your plan won't help this billing cycle me. If anything it may make it worse since your mins will be prorated. If you are 15 days into your 30 day cycle with all 300 mins used up and you upgrade to a plan with 400mins then the first 15 days u only get 150 mins and then next 15 days u get 200 prorated mins.
And any mins u were over those amounts during. Those day periods will be charged overage.

You can add the unlimited min add on for $20 (prorated) then n3xr billing cycle you can remove it
