Can i add the extended warranty on my cell phone online or do i need to visit a retailer to do it

Want to add extended warranty but no vehicle makes travel hard sometimes and i know i only have a limited time after purchase to do it just wondering as title says if its possible to do online or must be done in store

Hey Troy! This must be done in store since we need to inspect the phone first to make sure there is no damage before the warranty is added on. You have 60 days from the purchase date to have it added on. Hope this helps!

Hi Melissa, is this really accurate? Can I purchase the extended warranty after I have already purchased/upgraded to a new phone and already have a plan in place? I was in the store yesterday to upgrade to a new phone & changed some features on my plan, but didn't get the extended warranty, which we could have for $7/mth extra. Now I wish I had of, but the guy at the retail store said we couldn't do it after we made the purchase. Please confirm, as I would like to be able to get the extended warranty. Thanks.

Melissa is correct. Section (12) under the heading Definitions states: “Effective Date” means the date Your request for enrollment is received by Us or Our authorized representative. Such request must be submitted on or within sixty (60) days from the Eligible Wireless Product purchase date.
