Many apps on my Moto X Play have stopped working. When I tap on my Kindle, camera and Koodo mobile app they just say Error and close. Camp era won't take pictures and I can't access my books or Koodo plan info. I've already tried turning it OFF then ON again. What can I do?

Well as for the Koodo app it has been discontinued and indeed should no longer work.

Koodo app is discontinued, so don't waste time on it. As a first step:

This link brings you to the CRTC website and article on unlocking being mandatory, not what you meant to link to I don't think Bob.

For the rest. Try uninstalling any app that's not working and reinstalling it. How much available storage do you have left?

I have plenty of storage but I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it didn't help. They wouldn't reinstall.

Try clearing the cache for the Play Store.
Settings, Manage Apps, Google Play Store, Clear Cache & Data.

Next steps after restarting and reinstalling apparently I'd say is a factory reset. You'll need to be sure to backup all your info before you do it.

My suggestion is go to your nearest Koodo retailer and upgrade to a newer phone, so you can have a better camera, processor, more hard drive, and a better screen!

Hope that helps!

It's not a bad phone though Jru so that's not always the solution. I have one and it's actually a great phone for a midrange device with great battery life, really good camera, beautiful 1080p display that's actually one of the best displays of that resolution I've seen. Call quality is best in class probably like all Motorola's always have been. A factory reset is much more in line with the fix here for sure before ditching it.

A new phone is always the best solution!
